Union Street Social: An Exceptional Dining Experience in Emporia, KS

I went with a large group here for dinner and wow. Every single person was extremely happy with their meal. The drinks were superb and the waiter was wonderful. I had the steak and fries and everything was just scrumptious. I cannot think of a single negative thing about this restaurant. Everything was fantastic

Great menu options, if you're looking for something a bit different give them a try . I'm going to give it a second chance next time I'm in town. We got the crab cakes along with the salmon and artichoke dip. Kinda of a sample platter because we both wanted to try each item. One thing I would like to see them do is cut back on the salt as the crab cake was very salty. The bacon pieces in the sweet corn was a bit to hard maybe make it a little softer. Artichoke dip was spot on.

AMAZING! Amazing food, Amazing drinks, Amazing dessert and Amazing staff. Did I mention that it's AMAZING? Husband and I went with another couple. We all ordered different meals and drinks so we couple try several options by sharing around. Everything was fabulous. We WILL be back!

I had heard of Union Street Social, so we gave it a try while we were in Emporia. I had the Berry Dutch Baby. It's essentially a German baked pancake, with a hint of cinnamon- loaded with strawberries, blueberries, strawberry jam, and topped with fresh whipped cream. Super tasty & piping hot straight from the oven. My husband had the Steak Hash with seasoned potatoes, onions, pablano peppers, steak, and queso fresco drizzled with Kimchi mayo and topped with a fried egg. It was just a tad over salted but wonderful flavor. My husband had drip coffee, and I had a cappuccino. It's often hard to find a place that has both great food and great coffee, but Union St Social managed to be great at both. Their service was friendly & attentive. Our waiter still managed to convince us, after we were all full up on brunch, to take a creme brulee home with us. We live over an hour away north (Lawrence) and I'd come back down to visit again - they are that good! Highly recommend folks give them a try whether you're passing thru on I-35 or looking for a new awesome spot to try - totally worth the trip!!

Best restaurant in Emporia!!! We need more places like this. Food is AMAZING! Portions are large. Atmosphere is beautiful. The servers have been delightful every time we’ve gone in there.

Phenomenal is the only word to describe this small town, but big personality restaurant! We came on a late evening nightcap and was absolutely astonished how much personality and character this restaurant has. The crab cakes were the star of the show as long with my crafted espresso martini. The pasta I had was a bit too greasy for my liking but other than that everything was perfect. I was passing through this small town and will come back if I have the opportunity to.

We had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant! Passing through Emporia, KS, we stumbled upon Union Social. We accidentally arrived at 9:02pm, not realizing their kitchen closed at 9:00pm. Despite this, they graciously sat us and took our order. Our server was phenomenal, providing excellent recommendations and top-notch service throughout our meal. A highlight of the evening was the Pistachio Old Fashion, a unique special that was absolutely delicious. For our main course, we enjoyed the surf & turf special. Every detail was awesome, from the vinaigrette dressing on the salad to the crab cakes and the tasty hollandaise sauce. The star of the show was undoubtedly the steak. The moment it arrived, we knew it was going to be great. It had a beautiful, crispy sear all around, was perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. My boyfriend said it was the best steak he's ever had! The sear was perfectly crunchy, and the inside was exactly as we ordered it. This dining experience was a true delight, and we can't wait to return! Thank you for taking us after kitchen close! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
